paint...and drink wine
About 300 guests packed into
the
Whole 9 Gallery in Culver City on Aug. 11 to celebrate the female form
at the Women Rock opening reception party. Former supermodel Denice Lewis, left, with fellow
artist Sevode Lewis, struck a
pose in front of Rose Masterpol's female nude painting, which appeared
in "Ocean's Thirteen." Not as mainstream: Denice Lewis' "tribute"
pieces, which she creates using ashes of loved ones. All artists
participating in the exhibit, on display through Sept. 29, belong to
TheWhole9.com, dubbed a MySpace for creative adults.
